One dead in Ruskin mobile home fire

RUSKIN, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Hillsborough County firefighters said one person is dead and five others are injured after a mobile home fire in Ruskin.

Firefighters said it happened at the Wolfs Mobile Home Park located at 425 18th Street.

The first units on scene found a single wide mobile home fully involved in fire, according to firefighters.

Firefighters said there is one confirmed fatality of which the age and gender has not been released pending the results of the fire investigation.

HCFR said paramedic units set up a triage area and provided immediate care and transport to five patients.

Firefighters said an adult male was flown to Tampa General. One adult female was taken to the hospital by ground as well as three children with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

Officials said the Red Cross has been contacted for the family.

Firefighters said the cause of the fire has not been determined pending the results of the investigation.
