AAP Recommends Kids Get Flu Shots Now

Doctors are advising parents and kids to get their flu shots now.  The American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending everyone, except for children less than six months old, be immunized as soon as influenza vaccines are available.  The group cautions against waiting for the newest vaccines to hit the market.  Health experts say the flu virus is unpredictable and people should get ready soon.  Only about 40 percent of Americans got their flu shots last season.
